Right click ->Properties on Humankind.exe.

Go to c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\Humankind.

Check “Run this program as an administrator.

Use the Nvidia Control Panel or AMD CCC to force the game to use your built in GPU instead of the Intel one Try running both Steam and Humankind.exe as administrator
